I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Michael and Laura are the photographers of our lives!... I’m sure a lot of parents can relate when I say that pregnancy and immediately postpartum is a really vulnerable time, and they always made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Especially true with our newborn pictures, our baby was two weeks old and the sleep deprivation was real but M&L were so sweet through the whole thing. And the pictures??? Just beautiful

Our recommendation is that maternity sessions happen between 30-35 weeks.
We typically schedule newborn session in the first 2 weeks. (We put a tentative date in the calendar, then reach back out after the baby is here to confirm your date).

Maternity sessions and larger family sessions typically take place outdoors at a location of your choosing. We'll provide some of our favorite spots if you're needing ideas or would like suggestions!
Newborn and lifestyle sessions take place in your home. When we arrive we'll help choose the best locations for photos (typically the bedroom, nursery, and/or living room). We'll search for good light, but also bring artificial lighting to use as needed.

Multiple outfits
Absolutely! For any session (other than minis) we allow outfit changes. Adding a second outfit provides variety that we love.
Please note that depending on where we are shooting, you may not have a proper changing area. So this totally depends on you.
We suggest that if you are doing a large family, you do not change (for time sake). We're happy to help you pick out your outfits, and will send over some suggestions before your session.

While you will receive all your images digitally, we fully believe important moments aren't meant to live on a screen.
Your gallery is linked to our professional print lab were you can purchase high quality prints to be delivered directly to you. These are gorgeous prints, true to color, and well worth the extra couple dollars.
We offer a variety of gallery wrap canvas options as well as high quality, layflat albums that can showcase this milestone.
