I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in a wedding Michael and Laura shot last fall, and when I found out I was pregnant and wanted to do maternity photos - they were at the top of my list as they are so easy going and joyful people. The day of our scheduled shoot the weather was doing some crazy things. Fortunately, they were troopers and met us at the VMFA even though it was probably over 100*! They helped us feel comfortable and at ease and managed to get some beautiful photos even when we were both dripping sweat! Also they are just the kindest people you’ll ever work with! We offer a limited number of mini session times each year. These are quick sessions with smaller galleries but can be used for families, maternities, headshots, seniors, or other milestones. How do I book?
Send us a message with all the details about what you are interested in. We will talk dates and send you a quote, contract, and invoice that can all be taken care of online. We ask that you sign the contract and pay your invoice to secure your scheduled shoot date.
Portrait sessions are typically scheduled during the week in the 2 hours before sunset. However, exceptions can be made, so just let us know what you need.

We typically deliver about 80 images an hour. There are several things that factor into this, but we take capturing this milestone seriously, so we want you to have lots of options!
Within three weeks you'll receive an online gallery with all your high resolution digital images which you can download. This gallery is also linked to our professional print lab were you can order high quality prints.

Multiple outfits
Absolutely! For any session (other than minis) we allow outfit changes. Adding a second outfit provides variety that we love.
Please note that depending on where we are shooting, you may not have a proper changing area. So this totally depends on you.
We suggest that if you are doing a large family, you do not change (for time sake). We're happy to help you pick out your outfits, and will send over some suggestions before your session.

While you will receive all your images digitally, we fully believe important moments aren't meant to live on a screen.
Your gallery is linked to our professional print lab were you can purchase high quality prints to be delivered directly to you. These are gorgeous prints, true to color, and well worth skipping the target trip (trust us.. we LOVE target).
Canvases are an amazing way to easily display images around your home. We offer a variety of gallery wrap canvas options. We also offer high quality, layflat albums that can showcase this milestone.
